The bride married in a secret ceremony this past week.
Princess Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on Friday, July 17, at Windsor with around 20 guests, after the couple initially postponed their larger ceremony due to the ongoing global Covid-19 crisis. The intimate ceremony took place at the All Saints Chapel in Windsor Great Park and the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh were in attendance.
Though the hush-hush ceremony happened behind closed doors, the happy newlyweds released two photos to celebrate. In one shot, Princess Beatrice is wearing her vintage Norman Hartnell wedding dress, borrowed from the Queen and embellished with diamante, and her glossy, voluminous blowout is adorned by the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, originally worn by her grandmother on her own wedding day.
Her makeup is centered on her fresh complexion, defined eyes, and long separated lashes. The princess is also partial to a rosy cheek and coordinating lip, which aligns with her bridal beauty moment; however, Beatrice opted for a peachier color palette and tonal look for her big day—the perfect touch for summer nuptials.
The specific makeup and skincare that the royal used for her big day were not disclosed, but in the past, she has spoken to the press on numerous occasions about her go-to products for her signature look. Chief among them is Bobbi Brown bronzer and Charlotte Tilbury mascara.
Beatrice’s beauty look is also reminiscent of the bridal beauty look her younger sister, Eugenie’s, donned in October 2018, a heightened version of the fresh beauty look that she normally wears. The key to that glam moment: elevating the look with a brighter cheek and a glossy lip. Much like her older sister, Princess Eugenie is also keen on using bronzer to sculpt and give a little glow to her complexion, as well as defined, separated lashes—even using the same Charlotte Tilbury mascara as her older sister.
The sisters, who are clearly very close, share a common beauty sensibility in day to day life and with their weddings.
